Banana Bread

Do you ever wonder what to do with those bananas that have gotten a little to brown?

Don't throw them away, you can use them to make delicious homemade banana bread! In fact at my house, I love when all the bananas aren't eaten timely - then I get to have banana bread instead.

The recipe for Banana Bread is easy - no kneading required.

2 1/2 cups flour,
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup chopped walnuts
3 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 1/4 cup milk
2-3 bananas
Cinnamon to taste

Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well. For dryer bread, use 1/3 cup milk instead. Pour into 2 greased 9" loaf pans. Bake for 65-70 minutes at 350 degrees.

I also top my loaf with additional chopped walnuts, cinnamon and granulated sugar before you bake for a crispy, flavorful top crust.

Enjoy!
